The English Barn

"I'm not one to usually post reviews, but I have to tell the world about how AMAZING the English Barn is. Jane and Paul have poured their heart and soul into this dream wedding venue. We actually booked this venue while it was still being built, which may sound scary to some, but we definitely believed in their vision of this gorgeous venue! AND WOW. Boy did they surpass our expectations! Every time we would stop by and say hi (they seriously are the friendliest people ever because they let us stop by several times before our wedding day to see the venue and to say hello! Most people probably wouldn't do that!) they had something new added to the venue - decorations, new landscape, etc!! We booked July of 2020 and got married at the English Barn during October of 2021 and I can't express how gorgeous the day was. Jane was so helpful throughout the whole wedding planning process and she made sure that all of my questions were answered and that my "vision" for our ceremony and reception came true! We had the ceremony inside (they do have gorgeous locations for a ceremony outside as well), did a complete room flip for the reception, and had our cocktail hour outside in the patio area during the room flip. They are so accommodating and made sure we had food and drinks the day of the wedding which was something they didn't need to do, but they did it anyway and it was so kind and thoughtful of them! Also, as there wasn't a wedding the Friday before my special day, they even let us bring all of our decorations, my dress, and anything we may need for the wedding day ahead of time! It made everything way less stressful and it was fun to set up my bridal suite for my bridesmaids and to put out gifts for the groomsmen in their suite as well! I can't express enough gratitude for Jane and Paul. I have received endless compliments on the venue and it is all because of them! Even my bridesmaids were commenting during our rehearsal and the wedding day how kind these two are. If you are on the fence about booking this venue, just book it! You will not be disappointed. They will meet your expectations and they seriously bend over backwards to make sure you have your dream wedding. They are so kind, very hardworking, and they truly do care about all of their couples. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you so much for the bottom of our hearts!"

"You can tell this venue was well thought out and made to make your day special as it made ours. The bread and butter of the venue though comes from its owners, Paul and Jane. They are some of the best people we have ever met. You can tell how much love, passion, and hard work they put into The English Barn. All the way down to the little details. They made sure all of our needs were met and made sure our wedding was more than perfect. Even before our big day, Jane was there helping me figure everything out. What I first thought I had for my table layout that I put together on my wedding planner’s site, ended up being modified. Everything looks different in person than on paper or through a computer screen. Jane made sure to settle my nerves and helped me work through my setup and many other concerns. Her insight helped tie everything together. Honestly, without Jane I do not think I would have been as calm as I was on our wedding day. Paul was also a breath of fresh air too. He made sure everything looked perfect outside, no blade of grass was out of place, and was ready to help with anything inside. Throughout our wedding planning process, I can honestly say Paul and Jane ended up becoming like family to us. Our wedding day was more than what we could have dreamed of and we owe it to Jane and Paul at The English Barn for helping us create a day we will never forget and will forever look back on as one of the best days of our lives. If you’re looking for that venue that has something no other venue out there has, with the look, the feeling, and the genuine care for you as a bride and groom and your families. "Once Upon A Time, in a beautiful dream, here you are at the doors of The English Barn, so beautifully designed, inspired and decorated by Jane and Paul Howe! When you step into the doors, You will see the most breath-taking beauty of a majestic venue, with the awe of it’s massive beams, to the glistening facets of sparkling chandeliers, THIS is the perfect wedding venue for your dream story to begin! Every bride loves a good fairytale and the romantic bridal suite inside the stone turret brings those dreams to life! With the heart window side door, the bridesmaids have perfect access to seclusion and privacy in their own dressing room! The furniture and surroundings are simply exquisite! It is spacious and quite comfortable for hair and makeup experts to get four bridesmaids ready for the big day, while the bride has her own lovely surroundings to enjoy. The groom’s den is the perfect masculine hideaway! The pool table and big sectional couch were so comfortable for the guys to hang out! There is a spectacular balcony view of the fireplace setting in the chapel below, warm from the glow of candles and the most beautiful floral arrangements imaginable. Many of our guests enjoyed the comfortable patio setting, giving them another beautiful setting to relax and visit with good friends and family. Jane and Paul have been so kind and considerate to share their Dream-Come-True Venue with us for our daughter’s wedding and one of our guests said, “This beautiful venue was just out of this World!” It just takes your breath away to stand in the doorway and feel the presence of joy and love that overflows your heart when You know, This is the Most Beautiful Venue for Your Wedding too! We are looking forward to the photography and videography delights so that we may relive this day over and over!
