Hal was able to capture our wedding as a series of moments - natural, candid, and true-to-life. I look back on our gallery and am immediately transported to these moments, big and small, that collectively made up the best day of my life, and I am so grateful to Hal and her gift for seeing and preserving them. Throughout the engagement photos/planning process, she showed another gift of hers - in addition to being an excellent photographer, she truly UNDERSTANDS people. The day of our wedding, Hal somehow was everywhere at once, wrangling family members, capturing moments, and being a calming and smile-inducing presence for my husband and I. She even stayed late to capture additional memories, a kindness that we SO appreciated. After our wedding, Hal was extremely communicative, delivered an enormous, well-rounded, and beautifully edited gallery in an impressive amount of time, and continues to be an admired artist and friend. Choosing Hallie as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Run, don't walk to book Hallie as your photographer! I am very picky when it comes to what I do and don't like. Hallie was exactly what I was looking for both in personality and her style. She was so great to work with! She made my husband and I feel so comfortable and at ease the whole day. We had no idea what to do for our wedding party photos and she had the genius idea of going and hanging out at a bar, which we chose Tom's Town. We love the photos she took of us and our group during that time. Every time I look at our photos it takes me back to that day. I love how you can look at her work and immediately be taken back to the moment. That's honestly what I love about her work the best. So again, run, don't walk and choose Hallie as your photographer.
