The Cotillion

I researched many, many venues before settling on The Cotillion. The only other venues in this price range were in weird locations and had old, outdated decor. The Cotillion is sleek and elegant and surprising! When I read it was in Blue Springs, I pictured Vesper Hall. But walking in is spectacular. The chandeliers, black accents, and beautiful bar are striking. It was the perfect space to craft the look I wanted for my reception. The manager was so nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. I was an annoying bride who kept changing my mind on the bar options and was constantly emailing them questions. I received prompt replies, often within an hour or immediately the next day. They have so much experience with weddings and gave the best advice. They were also amazing during our final walk-through and design and even the day of when setting up. They stayed there for the whole reception and kept my mom updated and informed about behind-the-scenes happenings. My dog even came to say hi to us and they not only allowed it, but even helped put a princess dress on her! I would highly, highly recommend The Cotillion for any reception. The venue also does wedding ceremonies.

We looked at a lot of different venues before finding The Cotillion. The first time my husband and I went to look at it we knew that it was perfect for our reception. Along the way, they were a great help! They helped make the planning process less stressful. Whenever we had a question, they were very thorough in answering them and if they weren't available, they were very prompt to return our calls (even on their vacation). We had around 260 guests at our reception and it accommodated for all of ours and our guests needs. We had a lot of guests tell us how beautiful the reception was and how beautiful The Cotillion is. There is not one bad thing that I could say about this place! It was truly the best reception I could have asked for! I would recommend it to everyone! 🙂

My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Cotillion. It is a beautiful place. We fell in love with the black pillars and the chandeliers. We paid extra for up lighting on the walls and were able to customize to our colors. We had more than enough space for our nearly 200 guests. The staff was great to work with. They always answered any questions we had quickly. When the bridal party arrived for set up, the tables, chairs, and table clothes were all set up like we discussed so we were able to add our decorations and it didn't take long at all. We loved that we were able to bring in our own caterer. The reception ran smoothly. The day was perfect and we would definitely recommend the Cotillion!
