The rules of The Kansas City Wedding Collective set us apart from other Kansas City Wedding Groups. Get an idea of the community that is being built by skimming through them :
MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENT
In order to be a part of this group you either need to be (1) an engaged couple currently planning their wedding within the Kansas City area or (2) a Wed KC vendor partner that serves locally engaged couples for their wedding.
A GOAL WITH PURPOSE
The primary goal of this group is to allow engaged couples to have access to a curated group of professionals that we know to be professional service providers. Other groups have grown large to include hobbyist and bypassing professionals, which can lead to scams and wedding day no-shows. Any evidence of unprofessional nature will deem a vendor unacceptable for this group.
NO SPAM
Self-promotion, spam and irrelevant links aren’t allowed. Such comments will be deleted. If a bride or groom requests recommendations for a certain service, you are allowed to comment with your business as an option. But needlessly spamming the members and couples of this group is not allowed and can result in removal from the group.
NOT A SWAP-N-SHOP
No items are to be listed for sale within this group.
NO HATE SPEECH OR BULLYING
Make sure everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn’t allowed, and degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated.
