Dana Ashley Events is a boutique Wedding Planning + Event Design firm in the Kansas City area. Dana Ashley is the company’s owner and lead planner who is committed to providing a beautiful, personalized day for every couple. She’ll get involved in the coordination process as much or as little as you wish for a stress-free day and a lifetime of memories.
Dana began her successful wedding planning career in her hometown of Chicago, IL where she had assisted over 300 couples in producing their big day. In 2019, her family of 4 made a move to the Kansas City area where she continues to coordinate fabulous weddings. For this experienced planner, it’s all about open communication to make her clients’ wedding visions come to life.
Dana Ashley Events provides full planning, partial planning, and day-of-wedding coordination. These packages are meant to meet your needs and budget requirements. Dana can assist in everything including budget creation, wedding-day timelines, vendor coordination, designing the overall look and feel of your event, and more. MEET THE OWNER
I have loved weddings since the age of 4 when the first of my cousins got married and acquired me as their flower girl. I married my high school sweetheart in 2014 and we have two amazing children. Aside from weddings, my other passions are family, interior design, cooking, and organizing. On a typical day, you can find me with a Starbucks in hand, working on some project in the aforementioned areas. My favorite part about being in the wedding industry is celebrating the love each couple shares in a way that is uniquely them. Understanding their love story, getting to know their likes and dislikes, creating a day that perfectly reflects who they are together so their nearest and dearest can experience a celebration of their love. It is the most rewarding thing. The best compliment I get is when a couple says, “that’s so US”. I’m a great listener and I have so many ideas, I can’t wait to get to know you
