Timmy Gibson Weddings

Timmy has been officiating Weddings for 25 years. He grew up in Kansas City, graduated Shawnee Mission West and then went on to earn a Theological Degree. Though he is no longer religious he does consider himself to be spiritual and believes strongly in the sanctity of Marriage. Timmy loves being an Officiant and helping couples create a memorable and magical Wedding Ceremony. He is calm and comforting, which is the vibe you want on the Wedding Day. Timmy will be a delight to work with as you prepare for your Wedding Day. On a more personal note, Timmy is married, has 2 beautiful children, one grandchild and 2 furry kids (an adorable Pomeranian, and a curious Cat). He enjoys tennis, walks through the park, curling up on the couch reading a great novel, traveling to new places, smoking a good cigar and sipping a rare Scotch.

Timmy and his team will work with you to customize your wedding ceremony to whatever best fits your needs, beliefs, style, personality, family, and desires. They do offer both a non-religious and religious ceremony, just depending on what best fits you and your partner. In the consultation they will discuss additional details of your wedding day as well as address any questions you may have. These details include whether you and your fiancé are doing Unity Candle, Unity Sand, Songs, Poems, Special Scripture Readings, Special Prayers, Communion, or even an Irish Folk Dance Routine 🙂 etc. Our philosophy is, “it’s your wedding, so let’s make it exactly like you want it!”
