Looking for a unique up-do for you or your bridesmaids? Look no further! Licensed hair and makeup stylist Traci Morby has pulled some of the seasons hottest looks for you to see. These braid and up-do combinations are the perfect blend of modern and elegance, making them blissful braids!

French Braid

This braid includes three sections of hair that are braided together. Hair is gradually added to each section as the braid moves across the head. In this style, a French braid is used to add texture and interest while pulling the hair into a side.

Fishtail Braid

The fishtail braid is smooth in appearance like a French braid. The fishtail braid divides the hair into two sections instead of three. In this style, a fishtail braid is used to create a half-up formal style.

Three Strand Braid

The three-strand braid is the most common braid. This style consists of six traditional braids woven together. This style is great for someone with lots of hair.  The braids keep it secure without using a large amount of bobby pins.

Fishtail Up-do

In this undo the fishtail braid continues into a bun. The style also has a French braid incorporated on the other side.

Wrapped Ballerina Bun

Here is a traditional ballerina bun with a bit of a fun twist. The bun in this style is wrapped in a traditional three-strand braid for a fresh take on a traditional style.

Multiple Braid Up-do

This up-do is full of texture with two types of braids and curls. A fishtail braid runs alongside a Dutch braid for a crown affect. The two braids meet in a bun of curls.
