Jeff & Hannah’s urban wedding in the KC Crossroads District happened to take place on a rainy day at The Bride & The Bauer, but the bright and beautiful colors radiated through the dreariness. The beaded wedding gown with illusion straps is just the first breathtaking piece of the bride’s look. We instantly fell in love with her marquise cut diamond wedding ring and crystallized heals from Betsy Johnson. What a show stopper! Hannah & Jeff’s classic church ceremony was coupled with an urban reception, creating the perfect balance of old and new.

Establishing a Look for the Wedding Day
The bridesmaid dresses were the focal point of the theme of the wedding. Hannah didn’t want to pick just one or two colors for the wedding. She found the first spring-time, flower patterned dresses.
No Woes on a Wedding Day
On the wedding day, everyone was worried that I would be upset about the weather. I was too excited to be finally marrying Jeff to let the rain get in the way of my happiness. – Hannah
Creating Personalized Wedding Pieces
“When planning the wedding, we really wanted every detail to be meaningful and represent us. Each table had a thank you note that matched the invitation suite and programs. The place cards each had a handwritten note from us that we hung from ribbons to display in front one of the gorgeous windows at the venue.” -Hannah
