Fall Toned Wedding at The Abbott

James & Cailynn’s wedding was one of our favorites from the Fall season. Their fall toned wedding at The Abbott certainly stole the show, but the day started off equally as beautiful with a ceremony at the stunning Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Take a walk with us through this stunning Kansas City wedding. 

You can tell that Cailynn has an eye for unique beauty but Soiree Event Designs certainly brought out the best pieces of her vision, starting with the invitation set that is simple, yet eye-catching. The unique coloring of the invitations were mirrored in the color palette of the bridesmaid dresses. 

Our Lady of Sorrows is one of the most popular Catholic churches in Kansas City for weddings. While the photos are pretty, it is hard to grasp the intricate detailing of the altar unless you see it in person. With strings playing in the background, James and Cailynn exchanged their vows that they’ll share for a lifetime. 

Now let’s move on the reception that has endless show-stopping details. The guests were welcomed to a large place card sign that read “Our Favorite People”… so fun! From there, large marquee letters and custom menus are additional personal touches. And no covid wedding is complete without masks and hand sanitizer. But what really caught our eye was the stunning floral work by Branches and Twigs. From the unique head table set up to the tall glass supported arrangements, to the low centerpieces, the color was spot on to match the custom velvet linens. And we know this couple is cool, because why have one cake when you can have two?! 

This is a Fall toned wedding for the books!
