Jacob & Rachel’s wedding from the middle of 2020, was one of our favorite small weddings of the entire season. Hosted on the outskirts of Kansas City, they brought their loved ones together in an outdoor environment to share their vows. The intimate wedding at Wildcliff had boho elements that brought together the celebration and married it perfectly with the outdoors.

Jacob and Rachel became friends in the work environment. Rachel eventually realized that the reason she looked forward to working was because she was going to Jacob. He asked her out 7 months after they started working together. On the 4th of July in 2019, Jacob and Rachel were both off work and made a day-date out of it. They snuck into a closed park (due to fireworks) to watch the sunset. Jacob walked Rachel to a park bench that he’s pre-decorated with peonies and candles. He proposed right there, riverside.

When asked what their favorite wedding day memory was, Jacob and Rachel said that they loved being surrounded by the people they love most in the world. And that after delaying the wedding and cutting back numbers due to Covid, it truly made every single moment and person that much more special.
