Berry Acres is a full-service wedding venue situated on 20 acres of beautiful countryside, conveniently located adjacent to I-70, just east of Kansas City.

Built in 2003 as a horse ranch, this massive building housed world class Clydesdales. The ranch was acquired in 2013 by Alan and Angela Berry who have transformed the facilities into one of Kansas City’s premier event centers. Alan & Angela’s goal is to exceed the expectations of couples, while entertaining their family and guests with a host of unique amenities such as a top rated DJ, lighted video dance floor, fireworks displays, a nursery, private parking and acres of open air photo opportunities.

MEET THE OWNERS

Alan & Angela Berry started out as wedding DJs in KC before creating their dream venue. Upon the opening of Berry Acres, they were finally able to use their knowledge and combined 30 years of experience to personally offer full-service weddings to couples while transforming the relationship from client to friend. Angela helps to plan and then execute every detail on wedding days, while adding a flair of fun with her MCing. Alan beautifully maintains the facility, keeps the crowd going with his DJing and is the fireworks pyrotechnician.

Berry Acres is an absolutely stunning wedding venue! Aside from the great atmosphere and wonderful amenities they provide, the customer service is out of this world! Angela, Alan, and Jazmyn are hands down the greatest people to work with when planning the biggest day of your life! They took all the guess work out of any planning questions and provided so much help and support with literally everything I needed. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and has several options for different ceremony settings, whether you want indoor or outdoor! The "one stop shop" that Berry Acres provides is seriously incredible. The food was so amazing (I am still getting compliments on it from guests from our wedding!). The queso fountain was a huge hit, the dance floor is something you can't possibly top! And what wedding isn't complete without an entire 20 minute long fireworks show?! I can't say enough amazing things about Berry Acres and if you're looking for the perfect place to have a spectacular, fun, and stress-free wedding, look no further than Berry Acres!

Without Berry Acres' staff, my day would have been a disaster. Not one thing went wrong, though. Jazmyn, Angela, Alan, and the other staff put in so much special time to make sure my wedding day went just how I wanted. It was stress-free. The food was wonderful, especially those cheesy potatoes. Yum. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, as well. I liked the different ceremony location options. Have you seen the dance floor? It is awesome! I would not have wanted my wedding any other way. Jazmyn took my ideas and turned them into reality. Berry Acres is the best!

Berry Acres made my big day stress free, smooth, and just an amazing day overall! The owners and staff are great! They were so friendly with our friends and family, made the planning process a piece of cake, and coordinated the whole day perfectly. They really know what they’re doing and are SO good at it! I would recommend this venue to any bride and groom, you would not regret it! The food was delicious and the nacho fountain did not disappoint! Having our ceremony by the pond made me feel relaxed and made a beautiful ceremony with the beautiful sunset behind. The views around the whole venue, inside and out, are just gorgeous! The bar, the dj’s, the big, lit up dance floor, the bridal/groom suites, the big space, was all perfect! I loved absolutely everything about this venue!
