We’re a fourth-generation family business. Russ Fiorella started it all with a small storefront barbecue in 1957, and we’ve grown to serve guests at five Kansas City restaurants and ship barbecue all over the country. But it wasn’t enough. We wanted a place where we could host truly special events. Somewhere big groups could celebrate, and big memories could be made. Somewhere that had room for the largest gatherings but still felt like home. Enter: Fiorella’s, the newest chapter in our long history of real hospitality.
We offer full-service event coordination, both on-site and off. Our venue manager will watch over every detail, start to finish. Whatever you need to make your gathering unique and memorable, we will make it happen.

My husband and I were supposed to get married at a different wedding venue in May, but due to COVID precautions we decided to postpone our wedding to August and then changed it to just a small family gathering. A co-worker of my dad's recommended Fiorella's for our family dinner, as we wanted a larger venue where our 40 family members could easily spread out for a socially distant meal, but didn't want to use our original venue (which was way too expensive for a small gathering). We were so lucky to work with the Fiorella's event coordinator. She was extremely helpful, accommodating, and accessible during a time when we were constantly making and changing plans due to the ever changing state of the pandemic. I think we met with her twice as a family before the wedding, and each time we all left saying, "Wow- she is AWESOME." She helped us create a social distancing plan that made us and our family feel comfortable. She also helped customize a menu that fit our budget and tastes, and the whole event was extremely affordable as the price of food/drink included event space for 5 hours, dance floor, audio/video hook-ups, a complimentary tasting of the meal/desserts prior to the event, etc! Even though she was helping with another event the night of our dinner and was not acting as our day-of coordinator, she still popped in on us several times and helped with a sparkler photo op we had planned. She also allowed us to bring decorations in the Friday before the wedding and then come back on Monday to pick them up, which was so helpful during a hectic weekend! Planning a large event during this time was extremely stressful, and I can't speak enough to how wonderful it was working with Fiorella's. Also, the food is AMAZING. We 10/10 recommend the carrot cake with cream cheese icing and are debating going back to the event center just to order more cupcakes!
