Jerrod and Rupal’s multicultural wedding at the Hilton President is nothing short of fascinating! The first ceremony of the day was a traditional American ceremony and then after a quick dress change, was followed by a Hindu ceremony. Having two wedding dresses has to make for one happy bride! She was absolutely stunning! There were cultural elements sprinkled throughout the celebration from henna on the bride’s hands to elephant place cards and a beautiful flower adorned mandap (stage). The wedding guests were treated to an evening they will never forget inside a venue that transcends the test of time.

Life’s Companion

Jerrod and I come from different backgrounds, but we still both share a lot of the same values and have a lot in common in what we want out of our lives. It is wonderful to know you have a companion like that in your corner for the rest of your life. -Rupal

Blending Tradition with Heritage

I had henna elegantly drawn on my hands and feet a few days before the wedding. I liked that while even in the traditional wedding dress you can see that little bit of Indian heritage.

Puppy Love

We loved including Oliver, our Maltipoo, in the wedding. He walked with Jerrod and his parents down the aisle in his own little doggy tux. Oliver also joined us for our bridal party photo session.

Sharing Indian Tradition with All Guests

Close to the end of the night, we did the Indian traditional ‘stick dance’ called dandiyas. So, dancing the night away was so much fun! I loved that our guests were able to participate in something so unique and different at a wedding. -Rupal
