AJ and Sydney created a wedding day that perfectly married old and new architecture – a perfect representation of the downtown landscape of Kansas City. The wedding day started with photos at Liberty Memorial; and while some photographers solely focus on the city view from this location, their photographer did a great job of finding unique spots to get timeless photos. Liberty Memorial lent the old architectural element to AJ and Sydney’s wedding day, but then this romantic wedding at The Station, 28 Event Space’s alternative space is where the modern elements come into play.
The ceremony featured a unique, suspended greenery arch that hung above the couple’s heads as they exchanged vows in front of the large marble wall at the venue. From there, the theme of white sophistical was carried through to the reception tables, marble cakes, and hand-lettered details. The evening ended with a fun sparkler exit.
