For The Story Vacations was founded in 2016 by Rachael Rogers, a Kansas City native turned full-time European traveler. Rachael lives in Europe full-time, which allows her to explore new cities, research new excursions and restaurants, and create relationships with the best industry professionals Europe has to offer. This is my very first time booking a travel planner and was so satisfied with FTSV. Rachael and her team planned our beautiful 12-day honeymoon/30th birthday celebration to Italy in November-December 2024. From our first contact to answering questions about travel preparations, Rachael was so knowledgeable and professional throughout it all. The highlight of Rachael and FTSV's services was the wonderful 77-page Travel Bible that had an itinerary, cultural tips, restaurant and shopping recommendations, private transfer and tour guide contact information, and links to Google Maps walking directions from our accommodations. As you can see from our photos, we definitely did a lot of activities. Our favorite experience has to be the pasta cooking class in Tuscany, or the hot air balloon ride in the Chianti wine region. Rachael ensured that she maximized our experience, while leaving room for some rest and relaxation in a Tuscan spa resort. The main reason why we booked FTSV was because of Rachael's on-the-ground knowledge of Europe gathered from moving to the continent almost a decade ago. I cannot recommend Rach and the team at For The Story Vacations enough. Rach curated the most amazing long weekend in Lucca, Italy for myself and five of my girlfriends. It was the most special trip of my life, and Rach took care of every little detail. There was nothing we needed to think of ourselves, she was always two steps ahead. From the chauffeur driven cars that took us to and from all of our outings, the airport and everything in between, to always being on hand during our trip if we needed anything (we didn’t but she still checked in to be certain). The whole thing was an absolute dream, the villa, the cooking classes with a local Nonna to the gorgeous dinners and drinks in the evening.
