ABOUT
Christ the King Church “CtK” was established in 2020 as Kansas City’s only LGBTQ+ affirming Catholic community. We moved into our 1888 historic Westside church home in 2021. We set out on an extensive renovation and expansion project to add modern amenities (renovated accessible restrooms, elevator, commercial kitchen, and gallery space) while preserving and restoring the beautiful stained glass, woodwork, and character.
We have opened our doors to share our beautiful building with the community and would love to host your wedding ceremony and reception. We welcome outside vendors and will work to ensure a smooth and professional planning process and celebration!

MEET THE OWNER
We cannot wait to celebrate your wedding at our historic and recently renovated church! Father Taylor Tracy serves as the pastor of our parish. We also have two event coordinators with decades of experience who are members of the parish and willing to help from start to finish! Of course, outside officiants, event coordinators, and vendors are more than welcome.
