Thank you for considering Lone Summit Ranch for your special event. My husband and I purchased Lone Summit Ranch in 2015 and have worked tirelessly to restore the property to its original beauty. The Ranch was built in the early 1900’s and sits on 128 acres of gorgeous farmland. Historic buildings and barns add to the charm and character of the property, which is conveniently located just east of Lee’s Summit off of 50 Highway. If you are seeking a unique setting for your event, look no further than Lone Summit Ranch! We have a setting like no other in the Kansas City area. We recently got married at Lone Summit Ranch, and our day was absolutely PERFECT! The venue is beautiful, but on top of that, the staff (Linda and Sydney) made the day run so smoothly. From the moment we booked through the wedding day, they made sure everything went exactly as we planned. My husband and I have said several times, imagine if we had chosen another venue that did not have such a hands-on staff; the day would have been chaotic. But thanks to LSR, we never worried about a single detail because we knew Sydney and Linda would ensure our day went just as we planned it! From the property to the venue, bridal cottage, honeymoon cottage, food, and drinks, our day was incredibly perfect. We love Lone Summit Ranch; the venue and staff will forever have a special place in our hearts. I promise you, you will not regret getting married at LSR. They will make your day PERFECT!
Finding the words to express how much I love and adore this venue seems impossible. We reached out to LSR when we were searching for a wedding venue in early 2022. During our tour, I was blown away with the beauty of the ranch and the amazing family who runs the venue. The amenities this venue offers are nearly impossible to beat. Honeymoon cottage, Bridesmaid cottage, mini golf for guests, groomsmen suite, beautiful outdoor patios, tons of parking, and so much more. Everything from the moment we booked the venue to the end of our amazing wedding day, went smoothly. Linda and her team are kind, well-organized, and have been all-around wonderful to work with. Linda went above and beyond to make sure our day was special and that we were taken care of. For example, she picked me up on a golf-cart to ensure my wedding dress & heels stayed clear of grass or dirt. If you are considering LSR for your wedding or event, book the tour asap. I whole-heartedly recommend LSR. It was the wedding of our dreams!

The space is beautiful and the grounds are gorgeous. Not only is there a large, indoor venue, there are also multiple areas for an outdoor ceremony, multiple areas for cocktail hour AND the most charming cottages to get ready in and even stay the night in. The family that owns the venue are the most welcoming, generous and thoughtful people that make you feel right at home and beyond appreciated. They go out of their way to make your event the best that it can possibly be in every possible way imaginable. The planning process with them is detailed, accommodating and smooth. Communication is taken as an utmost priority. At the actual event, their team is in full swing production with the vendors, working side by side to make it all happen. Our wedding day felt like a dream! I've known Linda for about 20 years so naturally I HAD to have my wedding there. As a wedding photographer myself, it was also a no-brainer for me to book Lone Summit Ranch because it is an absolute gorgeous place for pictures! Very well kept too! It was nice to actually enjoy my day and not worry about what was happening because Linda and her staff had it handled. She makes sure everything is just perfect and it's very apparent that she cares so much about her couples; but also the families, guests, and vendors included. When you have your wedding at Lone Summit Ranch, you're treated like family. Linda has such a big heart and it was so incredibly special to have her included in such an important day in my life. Such a wonderful day and honestly I wish I could live it over again because of how amazing it was! I will never ever forget the emotional moment we had before I walked down the aisle. I HIGHLY recommend Lone Summit Ranch! Everything about our wedding day was perfect. Linda is absolutely wonderful, and helped us figure out what would be best for our wedding day based on previous experiences. Not to mention, the catering service they use was AMAZING! We got so many comments about how amazing the food was and how beautiful the venue is!
My wife and I had our wedding here in December and couldn't have been happier with the way the day turned out! The venue itself is amazing with the grounds being very well maintained, and the staff is so welcoming and helpful! Linda made everything easy from day one and was frequently in touch to make sure every detail was accounted for. With our wedding being at the end of December, we had our ceremony and reception in the same building. The space is built perfectly to split between the two and made for a beautiful setting. You can definitely tell that Linda and her team have been doing weddings for awhile because their attention to detail is top notch. Numerous guests said this was their favorite wedding they had been to, and the venue played a huge role in that. I would highly recommend choosing LSR for your wedding or any other event!
This venue is absolutely gorgeous, and the staff was very accommodating. There was a chance of inclement weather during our ceremony time and Sydney and Linda let us wait to decide where to set up for our ceremony until a few hours before so that we could have an outdoor ceremony. The Bridal Cottage and Honeymoon Cottage options are so nice to have and use, they make the day go so much smoother. The spaces are flexible and accommodating to many different styles for different aesthetics, and don’t really need extra decorating if you didn’t want to. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our wedding so much, and that was really because of the prep work that Linda and Sydney put into making your day special. We would highly recommend this venue for your wedding!
I am a wedding planner and I work out at Lone Summit Ranch often! I LOVE working at their venue, one of my favorites in all of Kansas City. Linda and Sydney are the absolute best and take care of their clients like they are family. They operate their venue professionally and with care to every detail. The venue itself is stunning and a beautiful backdrop for a wedding in any season. It's close to the city for your guests but still far enough out that you get the peacefulness of having the estate all to yourself. The onsite bridal cottage for getting ready and honeymoon suite for the couple that night are added bonuses. The photo opportunities are endless. Highly recommend them for your wedding day!

I would highly recommend having your wedding at Lone Summit Ranch! I don't even know how to put into words how much we appreciated every detail that went into this special day for my daughter and her husband. The staff is a class act that has amazing communication and helped us enjoy our day & be in the moment by taking care of all the "little things". The bridal cottage is such an amazing area for the girls and moms to get ready and enjoy that part of the day together before all the big festivities start. I received multiple compliments on the beauty of the property with all the immaculately kept flowers all around the property when we were outside for the ceremony and before the guests entered the reception area. We fell in love with how the reception space turned out. It was beautifully transformed with all the floral arrangements and centerpieces. My daughter said it was her dream day and she could not have imagined anything better! It is worth every penny you will invest to work with Linda and her team to have a day you will remember for a life time!

Yes, the space is BEAUTIFUL - you can see that in all of their images. But the real differing factor with them is how hard their team works to produce the best days. When I say that this team works HARD, I’m saying that they are some of the hardest workers in the industry.
Their team is on site all day - not just taking care of managing the venue, but purely providing any and all that they can to make the day easier & better for the clients and vendors.
One moment that really stood out to me: During an event together last summer they were constantly checking in on the party and the vendors that we’re out in the heat, bringing us cold waters, checking in on us, and transporting us on their golf cart. They were truly attentive.
They were so active and present the entire day, it’s simply felt like they were just one of the family checking in on us.
