The 1905 Rock Island Bridge is located in Kansas City, KS. Situated in the historic West Bottoms district over the Kansas River, it offers a luxurious ‘floating-on-water’ experience for weddings and other significant occasions.
The Bridge is the world’s first entertainment district on a bridge, making for a unique celebration you won’t find elsewhere. This venue has two bars, a commercial kitchen, restrooms, dance floors, and picturesque vistas of the river and the historic Strawberry Hill neighborhood. The Top Deck is a private event space with a wedding capacity of up to 250 guests. Your party will enjoy the rustic modern charm with all the comforts, including a 50-foot bar overlooking the Kansas Waterfront. Hi! My name is Jake and I am in charge of events at the Rock Island Bridge. I am from St. Louis originally, but moved to Kansas City after graduating from the University of Central Missouri. Even before it’s construction, I worked with the founders of the Bridge to help make it a perfect place for couples to tie the knot. I am looking forward to helping make your day special!
