Welcome to The Delaware Event Space – vintage auto shop turned modern industrial gallery – standing at the crossroads of the Historic Independence Square. MEET THE OWNERS

Courtney and I moved to the Independence Square eight years ago with a dream to add value to our city by repurposing an old auto shop by which new couples could come and have meaningful experiences on their special day. Living in an eclectic-historic neighborhood reflects our values. We spend our time tending to our urban “farm”, baking bread, reading fantasy, and loving our fierce and adventurous five-year old daughter and lover of unicorns.

We had our wedding at The Delaware, and it was absolutely beautiful! The space is so clean and airy - perfect for the minimalist couple - or vintage - or classic - or or or! It’s the perfect blank slate that is beautiful as is. We had a very vintage, comfortable, and romantic vibe for our wedding, and the space transformed beautifully. Courtney was a dream to work with - so kind and thoughtful, so thorough, and so attentive. The bridal and groom suits are perfect! We felt like we were home the entire day leading up to our wedding and reception. Absolutely recommend!
