The Vox Theatre Event Space is an open-concept, urban wedding venue in Kansas City. The space started life in the 1920s as a silent film theater, and has transformed into a place to host your remarkable wedding! The exterior of the building boasts original beautiful red and brown brick, while the interior is a magical combination of white textured walls, polished flooring and lush, red velvet curtains. Allow yourself to be swept away by the charm and romance of the Vox Theatre aura.

The Vox Theatre Event Space offers couples a sweeping banquet hall to host their ceremony and reception. The space can accommodate anywhere from 50 – 300 guests, meaning you and your soon-to-be spouse can have an intimate or robust celebration. The space also offers an elevated stage for ceremonies, and a private upstairs lounge area. You will also have full access to our outdoor lawn space with a raised patio area.

Beauty and history are present at the Vox Theatre, however this venue also offers helpful accommodations and services that make it a premier wedding destination.

The staff was fantastic and organized, I didn't have to worry about vendors, set up, and the owner created beautiful drapery that matched my colors. They really go above and beyond. As for the venue itself, it's magical.

The Vox was an amazing spot to have a wedding! The ladies at the Vox really made our event happen with as little stress as possible. We would highly recommend them to anyone who asks! This was the best spot, and way better than we could have imagined!

We simply cannot give enough stars / accolades to the team at the Vox Theatre and their hosting of our wedding. From the beginning, they were so communicative and helpful in the months leading up to our day - answering all of our questions, having email conversations with our vendors directly and meeting multiple times with us, our coordinator and our other vendors to ensure the day was ready to go smoothly and spending an amazing amount of time helping us coordinate our perfect venue layout that was quite a bit different from the normal layout as well as timing for the evening. Thank you to the Vox Theatre team for making our day so perfect!
