Gregory & Jenny had to change their wedding plans, but from what we can see, this day looks as picture-perfect as we can imagine it to be. They hosted a small group of family and friends for the wedding at No Vacancy, Kansas City’s hot new mini-hotel with limited rooms of the utmost urban personality.
With popular local wedding planner, Whatever Is Lovely Events by their side, Jenny and Gregory kept their wedding small, but full of personality. Dried florals perfectly accented white, blush, and orange blooms. And who doesn’t like some pampas grass?!
The ceremony was hosted in front of No Vacancy’s popular mountain wall. The ceremony was live-streamed to family that was unable to travel due to current restrictions. After the ceremony, a small dinner was hosted with small bites from The Russell and a small yet delectable cake from McLain’s Bakery.Â
THE LOVE STORY
WEDDING DATE:Â October 10, 2020
HOW THEY MET: We met in college 12 years ago while living in the same dorm.
THE PROPOSAL:Â Gregory got a new collar for our dog, Sophie, and had a tag engraved with his proposal. He sent her to me and when I noticed what was on the tag, he proposed.
PERSONAL PIECES: I incorporated a ring and bracelet into the wedding day that my parents had given to me as a young girl.
FAVORITE WEDDING DAY MEMORY: Our favorite part was being able to get married after spending 10 years together. We were able to do it safely and incorporate our family and friends virtually so they could celebrate with us.
