MEET THE DJ, RYAN

My DJ career started in my bedroom as a mixtape-making teenager and has evolved into a true passion for spinning tracks at weddings! I’ve been professionally working crowds for 10+ years but actually started with Levity in 2018 and recently accepted the role of Director of DJ Sales/Operations. I have to pinch myself as I’m packing up at the end of each wedding because I truly get to do what I love for a living!

Every time I mentioned to another vendor that I booked (and thus they would be working with) Levity, they were very happy, and now I see why! Our DJ, Joe M, had a long meeting with us a week before our wedding to iron out a lot of very specific details, and I think that’s what made the difference between just a good experience and a GREAT one. He approaches his work almost like science – he had a lot of thoughts about exactly when in the night he likes to play specific types of songs because of the effect he knows that they have on crowds. And I think he was spot on with all of them! I am so, so glad we went with Levity (and specifically Joe).
